Re: New music video: "Opawesome"
Glad you folks liked it. When I was nearly finished with the video, I saw a possum a few times eating the cat food the landlord leaves out. Kismet, or something.

New music video: "Opawesome"
Hi. You may or may not remember me asking questions about this from a few months ago, but I finally finished my animated music video for my song about opossums, called "Opawesome." Been wanting to do a video in this style for a long time, but knew it would be a huge pain, couldn't muster u...

Re: Import movie on v12.5 not working?
Thanks. Tried moving those movies to desktop, renaming without spaces, importing and drag/dropping into project, still no luck. Found a workaround in creating a PNG image sequence, putting that over the background (the file that won't import properly) in FCPX, which is where I will edit the project ...

Import movie on v12.5 not working?
Trying to use a video background for a shot. Using v12.5 on Mac. When I do "import movie", or drag and drop from finder, I'm getting a box with a red question mark instead of the movie. Thought maybe the movie only shows properly upon render, but no good there either. Tried this with two d...

Re: driving pov through windshield, using image layers in Moho 12.5
Thanks. Looks like I'm going with the 3D approach, much like the shot in the PF video you linked with the person walking along a tree-lined street. Except your will be better 'cause that video is stunning.

Re: driving pov through windshield, using image layers in Moho 12.5
Wow, thanks! I will to absorb all that. The perspective approach you mention first, is that using 2D/flat/no z axis animation only?
Also, how do I enable email notification when there's a reply to one of my posts? I've searched but can't find it here.

Ah. Yes I guess that would work too.
Sorry, that link isn't working for me. I'm not very familiar with discord, and I know it's its own thing, so probably pilot error.

driving pov through windshield, using image layers in Moho 12.5
Hi. Using Moho 12.5, trying to make a shot of driving along a residential street, as seen through the windshield. May or may not have parts of two people visible in the frame. Also trying to do all this with image layers. I feel like there was a tutorial video on a similar camera move (I remember a ...

Re: Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
I got it working with 12.5, have already made the purchase. I need it for a while anyway, as the project will take quite a long time. The project I was trying to export was only one shot (the first shot) from a music video. Thanks for all the help though.

Re: Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
Success (just exported and watched it)! Thanks folks. Before I committed to buying 12.5, I even tried starting a new project in 9, and animating a simple vector shape. Nothing else. Still wouldn't export. So I guess it's in some grey area where it works, but not fully.

Re: Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
Sorry, I guess I'm not getting reply notifications via email. Sounds like a plan. It says 14 is compatible with Mac OS's after 10.5/Catalina, I'm on 12.something/Monterey, so presumably Moho 12.5 will work with that but I"ll look it up. I just find it weird the program (v9 that is) would genera...

Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
I am still on the ancient Anime Studio Pro 9, because I only use this for very occasional projects and haven't updated since 9 was current. I started something new recently, program seems to work fine on my 2017 Imac with Monterey, however, when I try to export, it just...doesn't work. With quicktim...

Re: ideas for animating photos stylistically
Thanks, that is neat, a little different than what I had in mind. We've thought about several different approaches, including ones that don't use animation at all (closeups of toy cars and bikes as if a child is playing with them), people in a car costume, etc. Still figuring this out.
