Re: Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
Success (just exported and watched it)! Thanks folks. Before I committed to buying 12.5, I even tried starting a new project in 9, and animating a simple vector shape. Nothing else. Still wouldn't export. So I guess it's in some grey area where it works, but not fully.

Re: Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
Sorry, I guess I'm not getting reply notifications via email. Sounds like a plan. It says 14 is compatible with Mac OS's after 10.5/Catalina, I'm on 12.something/Monterey, so presumably Moho 12.5 will work with that but I"ll look it up. I just find it weird the program (v9 that is) would genera...

Anime Studio 9 Pro won't export
I am still on the ancient Anime Studio Pro 9, because I only use this for very occasional projects and haven't updated since 9 was current. I started something new recently, program seems to work fine on my 2017 Imac with Monterey, however, when I try to export, it just...doesn't work. With quicktim...

Re: ideas for animating photos stylistically
Thanks, that is neat, a little different than what I had in mind. We've thought about several different approaches, including ones that don't use animation at all (closeups of toy cars and bikes as if a child is playing with them), people in a car costume, etc. Still figuring this out.

ideas for animating photos stylistically
Hi. Haven't been here in a long time. Am planning on a music video involving inconsiderate cyclists and the motorists they annoy. Ultra low/no budget, so certain things are really out of the question done as live action since we don't want anyone to, you know, die. One of the alternatives I'm thinki...

Re: New Short film - "HTC You in Hell"
The AS work was in animating God and Jesus and the roaches (never thought I'd use that in a sentence). They were images I cut up into layers in photoshop.

New Short film - "HTC You in Hell"
Hey guys. Long time no post new material. I have a new short film. It is not about Jewish Ninjas. In fact, I would say it nigh defies description. So far I have "blog post crossed with fever dreams of a long-time shroom addict." Sort of appropriate for Halloween. NOW, bear with me. At firs...

Re: Audio sync/duplicate frames issue ASP 9
Ok so did a test. exported one of the movies from ASP at 23.98 and brought it into Premiere, attempted to sync the audio again with this new file. Bammo. That was it. So kids, always check your framerates and make sure they match. It may be totally unnecessary even in NTSC to be 23.98 if NOT working...

Re: Audio sync/duplicate frames issue ASP 9
As I said, It's a video thing probably more than an animation thing. I'm integrating this with live action. Unless you're working with actual film, video at "24fps" is actually always at 23.98/23.976 (when shooting or posting). Just like 30 fps video is really 29.97. It's an NTSC thing. Ha...

Audio sync/duplicate frames issue ASP 9
Hi folks. Long time no post. So I created something in ASP 9, exported as QT movie, brought movie into Apple Motion, did stuff, exported, editing In Premiere. Everything looked okay, but I notice in Premiere, when I try to sync up my recorded voices with the lip movements, matching how I did it in A...

Magical disappearing posts?
Hey guys. I've gotten two notifications of replies in the last few months to a thread I started a while ago, but when I click the link (from the email message) to go look at the new post, it tells me "the thread or post you specified does not exist" (or some wording to that effect). I've m...

Thanks. I will keep all this in mind. I'd still like some other folks to chime in with their thoughts. Wait, duh. . .I guess if I was more specific with what I wanted, I could keep costs down by keeping your workload down, right? E.g. don't need to see the room from this angle, only this angle, same...
