Create multiple skeletons in the same switch layer. I checked your sample file - I see that the bone layer DE Derecha15 has a bone in it that is bound to the points at the top of the leg switch layer Pierna_1i. How did you set that up? I can't get any bones on the containing bone layer to bind to (...

Thanks - I've saved the link and will study it. I've only used simple bone set-ups before so this looks like it might be a bit complicated for day to day use - but maybe after a closer look it'll be clearer - I see the link page refers to bone-offsetting, which is what I'm using --- looks good! Bones and switches

(If there's a solution to this already on the forum, please point me there) Is it possible in ASPro to emulate the kind of set up in Flash or ToonBoom, where an IK bones chain of vector art symbols, say, an arm, has the ability to swap the symbols for other drawings (usually by choosing another fram...

From this thread , take a look of what the Creator says about: I've always hated the way Illustrator and other vector apps work Yeh, I did read that, too, but, it doesn't change the essential point - (I have spent an awful lot of time reading this forum, and getting to grips with ASP, and using it t...

[quote="heyvern We need a "sticky" post about AS curves -vern[/quote] Yeh - I read all them - meanwhile, I still have deadlines to meet! AS is great --- why are there several threads here about how little AS is appreciated, then? The reality is, unfortunately, that AS needs the drawin...

That's true as well. And fortunately there is such a thing. Try turning off the "Auto-weld" option for the Freehand tool and you'll see exactly such a simulation. When auto-weld is on, we need to draw the little welding "hint" circles, so the simulation isn't quite possible. Any...

Can you please post some screenshots? I'm sad, I had so much material which wanted to give to SM. A lot of rigged and animated anmes. Well, they will have to wait until version 7. I see that version 6 is Vista compatable - wonder if that includes Vista 64? Version 5.6 seems to have lost its transpa...

after I started using AS and made a dedicated effort to learn the drawing tools I'm sold on it now. I don't think there's anything better out there. I found AS's drawing tools fine for tracing, but for drawing with a Wacom I found that the pressure sensitive tool need to be refined. I remember that...

Use bones for "rough" broad stroke motion (like they do with 3D using low res boxy shapes for characters to preview motion), then when you like what you have you can go in and use point motion key framing to "clean up" the rough spots. -vern At the minute I'm doing 90% points, 1...

Yes, individua pointsl can have their own interpolation. That is what I think is happening. A slight movement from one frame to the next with any keys indicates some sort of key framing issue. -vern Somewhere else on the forum in regard to adjusting keyframes across multiple layers, (which is a wor...

Are you playing the animation in preview or does the pause happen in a final export? If you are playing is skip frames turned on? -vern Yep, preview - haven't checked final anim - maybe should do that, but the fact that each eye was different, tough on the same layer threw me. No bones are controll...

If you create a NEW shape on any frame besides 0 it won't let you delete that key frame. You need to copy the key frame to frame 0 then you could delete the key. -vern Thanks! Keys and Bones

Dear ASP experts! - two questions! 1 - There's a vector layer keyframe I can't delete - what sort of reasons would prevent me from removing a keyframe? It was almost certainly created when I moved some points. 2 - Is there any way to hide the bone wireframe display yet still see the construction cur...
