It's on page 84 of the 6.1 Pro manual, and it involves the following... Many Thanks Muffy. Since I only tested Pro and bought Debut 5 at the time it explains why I couldn't find the tutorial. Debut doesn't have custom scripting does it. Well, guess I'll have to consider upgrading to Pro when I can ...

Bones on photos
A few years ago when I first looked at AS (5.1?) there was a tutorial included which showed how to take photo of a mouth from the library and bone it to make the lips move. The result made the image warp because it wasn't split up into layered pieces but it worked and you could add lipsync. (I want ...

Sound export with AVI
I'm using AS 5.6 Debut and when I export to AVI there's no sound. SWF is fine though. I placed the wav file in the same folder. That worked for SWF but not for AVI. I checked with mplayer and it says "audio: no sound". I saw the frame 0 issue posted, but 5.6 starts at frame 1 for me anyway...

I'm not still clear on how to create a storyboard with timings, using AS and Cinelerra (CL). Could you give me a few more hints please. I loaded three images into CL, but how do I set the duration for each one? Is it in the compositor? I tried with in/out points, but I am stuck at this point. Thanks.

It is common mistake to make a casual click into the layer visibility channel and the make the layer not visible from the click frame to the end. Many Thanks! Wow, such a little mistake causing a big problem. It took me 20 mins, and I read your reply about 5 times until I figured it out. Now I see ...

AVI on Linux with ffmpeg
There should be a way to use ffmpeg for movie output on Linux. AFAIK, you can convert SWF to avi or MPEG-4 with ffmpeg on Linux, *if* the SWF is uncompressed. That doesn't give all features, but at least you get AVI or MPEG-4 on Linux with some convenience. It doesn't work for me with the current SW...

Export problem AS Linus Pro
I am using the AS Linux Pro demo and have a problem when exporting to SWF. I followed a tutorial with the last "mouth" listed. When exported, the lips only appear for the last frames. If the feature was not supported by SWF then the lips would not appear at all, right? So it can't be that....
